John A. Becker, J.D.
Attorney John A. Becker graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 1979 and received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1982. He handles primarily personal injury and workers’ compensation matters.
Attorney Becker has tried cases throughout southeastern Wisconsin and has argued numerous cases in the Wisconsin Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. He has taught classes at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Carthage College. He was certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 1988 and appeared in The Best Lawyers in America Consumer Guide and in Wisconsin Super Lawyers.
He has written informational booklets on Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury. He authored Recreational Immunity in Wisconsin in 2007, which he updated as Recreational and Governmental Immunity in Wisconsin in 2022. In 2022, he also coauthored Wisconsin Safe-Place Law, Third Edition.
